THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT!
As sad as it is for me to say this, I think it's fair to let you know in advance that I'm going to stop updating Hamleto for good starting from July, 8th.
I'm terribly sorry I've taken this decision, but I can't go on updating this strip.
It has started to become a tiring work and I'm not as willing to face it as I was 4 years ago.
However, I won't let Hamleto and the others down permanently.
I like the characters very much and I'll surely draw comics about them or something else once more in the future, but I'll never follow such a uptight schedule again.
I really hope you understand my decision as I hope you'll still enjoy the oncoming strips until the end.

I'll admit it's a shame that after so long Hamleto is going to stop. But the greatest of artists, or the worst of artists, no matter, can't keep their works alive forever. I mean sure, there's some things that will be here for centuries, but compared to the HUGE amount of art this world is filled with, the things we know of are so small. If we stared at art every second for the rest of our lives, I don't think we could see every picture there actually was. And that's true. At least I think. Whatever you decide to do Valentina, I hope you find happiness in it.

i hope that would be enough to make a nice ending! You've got fans, and hamleto will be remembered forever! I wish all the best for you and hamleto! T_T. I think most web comics end in a year or two! I'm happy that you made it all through the four years! How i wish it was another april fools joke! T__T

I'm sad with your notice, though I understand your reason. It must have be a tough job keeping this website alive with 3 updates per week, but you did such a great work!
Although I will miss Hamleto and his gang, I'm very glad that you won't abandon us for real.

I have been following your strips for the last year and I enjoyed reading everyone of them. You even inspired me to try start my own comic. It is a bit sad to see this coming to an end, but it was great to get to know Hamleto and his friends. You taught me many things about hamsters and I can still imagine many fun adventures of Hamleto. I hope you will succeed and find happiness in the other things you will be doing.
Some coincidence is 8 July will probably my graduation date. I am somewhat happy that Hameleto will be updated until then, because Hamleto helped me relieve my stress and keep me smiling. 8 July is the date to move to the next phase of life :) I truely thank you for all your efforts and great artworks.

Awwww, it's ending! :( the last strip should be one that congratulations!, to the hamsters and people who read the comics. At least i knew it would end someday.
Noooooo! I was afraid it was going to end soon... precisely because I knew that it is not possible to commit to a regular comic unless it's your full-time job.
But it's been a good run Valentina! It's been comforting and delightful to read about Hamleto and his pals, you've brought happiness to many of your readers!
While I hope your hiatus won't last too long, I hope you'd surprise us with occasional strips here and there!
You are talented both as a humorist and artist, and I wish you all the best.
It's too bad Hamleto is just about to end, especially since I just found out about it! But all good things come to an end, I suppose. And since hamster only live to two or three years and this comic has been going on for four, I suppose it's time. Good luck with whatever you decide to do :)
Awww... I love the Hamster comic but if you feel tired on doing it. Then, I hope that you at least give Hamleto a good send off.
Awww, I will miss reading Hamtaro, but I say, "Good job Valentina!" You have made a fabulous body of art with all the characters and given us humour when we needed it. I completely understand your decision and hope that you can bring Hamelto back for special occaisions in the future. Best of luck with what you tackle next.

But I came to a point that I acutally feel sick every time I think about writing or drawing another strip.
I really need a break from Hamleto <:-)
