Agreed, I hate flashes. I'm rather nocturnal by nature and dislike bright lights in general, but the sudden and often unexpected blast of a camera flash is especially annoying. (Never really thought of myself as hamster-like before, but I guess we do have that in common...)
@wizard: Heheheh! ^^ Hamsters are noctural animals, so... yes, you have some traits in common with hamsters :-) Hamleto: "Good! We will sign autograph together! :3"
But how come sometimes when I use flash on my hamster, he seems to show no response to it? It's as if he doesn't see any flash, no flinching or anything.
@wan is me: No problem :-) You are welcome anytime you want to drop by ^^ Hehehe, you're right. There's no way to immortalize the signing moment without taking a photo (expect, maybe, being a very very quick drawer xD)
@stripy-artist: Hehehe ^^ I guess it's a matter of instinct. You just want to protect your eyes :-) That would be a solution. At least, it would come out a relaxing photo-album, hehe xD
@v: Well, I don't know how a hamster should react at a flash light. Maybe they don't finch, but that doesn't mean that they like it either <:-) I really don't know, actually <:-)
My goodness, I can understand Hamleto perfectly! I hate flashes, they make me more pale than the usual, and my eyes... God, my eyes... They get red, as if I was being possessed! xDDD I... I just can't pose well. I'm amazed at Hamleto, I wouldn't be even able to hold a pen to sign an autograph after that explosion! xDDD
@nniccals: Heheh, I can relate. I come out like a zombie on photos <:-) You don't have any idea what Hamleto would be able to do when it comes to be popular, hehe ;D

hei.... sorry havent comeent for a looooong time .... just so busy..... but if hamster like signing autographs, how to take pictures?
Whenever a camera flashes, my knee-jerk reaction is always to close my eyes. No, people do not only take pictures of me when I fall asleep.
