Jokes aside, it's definitively not a good idea to give scented litter to your hamsters.
As we have seen in many previous strips, hamsters rely exclusively on their sense of smell to orient themselves and a scented litter surely doesn't help.
And besides... Well, I'm not a hamster, but personally I wouldn't stand smelling lemon all day xD

Hmmmm, add the lemon-scented litter along with Hamleto into the washing machine. Hmmmm, the results!
I cannot help but link this strip and the previous one together. Haha. :)
Haha. I saw a bag of Lavender scented bedding at my petstore. The piece of bedding looked like hamster food..
That gives me a thought what if Alice still made Hamleto go on the diet and he's so hungry he eats the bedding? HAHA that would be so like Hamleto, you cute fat hamster you.
@kisetsu:
Hahahahahahaha!!! xD Lemon Fresh Hamleto!
It's actually kinda funny to link the two strips together :D
@kelly:
Hehe, now that you mentioned it, it's true: every bag with a picture of a animal on it looks like food xD
Hahahahahaa! XD Poor hungry Hamleto! It might be a good idea for a strip :-)))) I think I'll write it down :D
Hahas! Dishwashing powder... speaking of dish-washing powder, I can just picture Alice taking up knitting and giving Hamleto a tiny little jumper...now Hamleto would say that she was a nerd instead or something.
@anonymouse:
Aww, how cute would Hamleto be with a little jumper :D
I imagine there's a reference here, but I can't get it... blame the early hour and my lack of general knowledge ^^;
:D You're right, Tyn, strong scents can be a disaster and even start an allergy... I have quite a problem with those...
(the scents, not the litter xDDDDDD)
Love and hugs!
@nans:
So, strong scents are bad for humans too... I'm so sorry for your allergy <:-|
Many many thanks for your comment ^__^
